Genetically modified organisms, also known as GMO’s, are organisms whose genetic material has been altered using engineering techniques.
I do not support the use of genetically (GMO's) in our produce. This is because it causes environmental damage and there is no economic value.
It causes environmental damage because the produce is raised in environmental conditions that normally would not support them. There is no economic value because it takes just as long to grow as produce without GMO.
Therefore, I do not support the use of GMO's in produce.
You say genetically modified foods harm the environment. It is a fact that they help the environment by producing the best quality plants and populate the earth with the best genetic material. Plants that are better at fighting disease and have the ability to enhance the vitamins which are transferred to us. GMO's have ability to earn money for farms because they are getting more from there crops and less are dying off. Therefore GMO's are preservers of the environment and bring in good economic value to our framers.
