Negative Affects of GMO
The definition of a genetically modified organism (GMO) is an organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques.
I am against GMO for the following reasons:
The significant increase of pesticides in our produce, which we consume on a daily bases. This increase has caused various side affects on many humans. Some of these side affects include organ damage, gastrointestinal and immune system disorders, accelerated aging and infertility.
The harm GMO is causing many different animals, specifically chickens. Chickens are genetically modified with hormones, carcinogens, GMOs, corn pills, arsenic and drugs. This is so they become larger in size at a quick speed so farmers can sell them to buyers faster and for more money. These chickens suffer with many heath issues throughout their short lives. These heath issues include ammonia, bronchitis and weakened immune system.
I agree with the information you gathered. I agree with what you said about the effect on chickens and the effect on humans.
